If you are a fan of the Dallas Mavericks, you have to read this article.
In it, the interviewer talks with a bunch of important figures for the Mavs and asks them about the current season. It offers up insight into what has been going on with Dirk Nowitzki, how the Mavs are preparing in case for another meet-up with the Warriors, and various other things important to this season.
Speaking of the Mavs, I watched the first half of the Mavs and Magic game last night. From what I saw, the Magic were putting on a bunch of pressure but could never catch up with the Mavs (the Mavs ended up winning). I thought it was interesting that at the end of the first quarter, Dwight Howard had 16 points and 6 rebounds… he ended up with 22 points and 13 boards (that means Dallas held the MVP-so-far to 6 points and 7 boards in 3 quarters). That is a good 3 quarters in my book. Also, on the offensive end, Dallas seemed to come down and knock in as jump shot each time down the floor. The were shooting 60% at one point in the second quarter (they ended the game at 52.5%). Throw in the 90+% on FTs, and it was no wonder they won this one.
